I am reporting from Canada this time. We have arrived well yesterday. Ok, almost. My travelling bag hasn’t made it yet – it’s stuck in Zurich. At least my Stevens-Bike as well as my helmet and shoes are here – so I can at least fulfill my job here properly. And for the rest my colleagues must help me out. But that’s no problem, after all the girls are alright and we’re in a good mood. Timely to the start of the world cup race on Sunday weather is supposed to improve, too. It is quite cold and rainy right now but it will get warmer and dry to the weekend.
For me, this sixth world cup race of the year is my first time on the street in the season. Part of the reason is my influencal infection I caught some weeks ago. Hence I worked up my physical form in a training camp in Thüringen. Of course, I haven’t reached my top form yet which is why one shouldn’t expect too much from Canada. Let’s see how it all turns out. I usually get going properly over the races anyway. And there are plenty in the coming days: Following after the world cup comes the „Tour du Grand Montreal“ and the „Tour de PEI“.
As always I will keep you informed on my website. Thanks for your support! Greetings.
